Nice review Terrell I often wonder what it would be like to install on
PPC since we have a bunch at school nobody uses. I agree with you no
flash is a showstopper. You know I have read thread after thread on
this list about how sys admins keep making OS decisions based on
whether they can get flash to work. (think Jim K. abondoning 64bit
cause no flash) I think it really makes Stallman's arguement that once
we start to accept binary blobs we are shooting ourselves in the foot.
I wish the gnash developers all the best luck and thank the FSF for
the work they do.
PS Nice to see an article by someone you know. Although we have never
met I feel like you are definitely part of the k12ltsp community
Terrell. :)
