Actually I am using Ubuntu Hardy (I didn't notice this was the K12OS list -I have cc'd to Edubuntu list.) I managed to do a manual install of <a href="http://9.0.48.0">9.0.48.0</a> using path /usr/lib/firefox-3.0b3 But the video on the clients is still choppy.
