I am looking into purchasing some proper thin clients for our
computer lab (we are currently using converted P4/P3 systems).
However, the units I am considering have either a MIPS or ARM
processor. I am curious to know if anyone has tested these
architectures with LTSP. The units are completely solid state and
run about $50 or so per unit. More importantly they have a very
low power consumption. This last point is of critical importance
to long term goals as we are looking to installing solar panels to
power the lab since power from the grid here in Zimbabwe is
extremely unreliable.<br>
