I've written a script that will take the original Red Hat Linux 9
bootdisk.img, drvnet.img, and drvblock.img and add/remove modules in the
bootdisk.img. This is useful for making single floppy kickstart disks.
Other stuff it can do:
- replace a module entry in the pcitable so that the installer will
automatically pick a replacement module (I needed to replace sym53c8xx
with sym53c8xx_2 for example).
- replace the kernel and modules with kernel/modules from a new
kernel-BOOT RPM.
Anyway, I thought it might be useful for others, so have at it:
http://www.iruntheinter.net/files/misc/custom-modules.pl-1.0
It is somewhat tested, but if it breaks, you get to keep all the pieces.

I don't speak for anybody but myself - that's enough trouble.
