pam password change

Hi

using,solaris 8 , we are trying to stack the pam modules for password change

1. pam_ldap- to change ldap passwords- usind pam_ldap-169(open source module)
2. pam_krb5- to change kerberos passwords- using solaris pam module
few quaility checking pam modules preceed them and works fine.

1.able to transfer old and new passwords from quality checking modules to pamldap
2. able to transfer old password BUT NOT new password from pam ldap to pam kerberos.

would like to know
1. transfer the new password to pam kerberos password management module 
2. significance of the variable SUNW_KRB5_AUTH_DATA variable in the pam krb5 module.
