Summary: Linux trademark attribution for legal notice
Product: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
           Version: 5.2
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: low
          Priority: low
         Component: publican
        AssignedTo: jfearn at redhat.com
        ReportedBy: mmcallis at redhat.com
         QAContact: mhideo at redhat.com
                CC: publican-list at redhat.com

Description of problem:

Not sure if the legal notice is the right place, and I am not a lawyer, but the
following attribution statement should be included somewhere (since almost all
books will contain "Linux" somewhere):

Linux® is the registered trademark of Linus Torvalds in the U.S. and other
countries.

See the last comments in RT3 #24123 for a response from LMI, and search for
"trademark of Linus Torvalds" in RT3 #24548 for the response from Red Hat legal
(let me know if you need help finding it).

Cheers.
