Hi All

I need to check with the list about changing the way FOP handles blocks that are longer than one PDF page (such as long <task> blocks).

I have a situation where a <task> flows over a page, and the content is either removed from the PDF, or squashed together in one small block. This happens throughout the user guide, and has been flagged in an Engineering QE review of the document.

The fix to this issue is removing the keep-together.within-column rule in FOP 0.95

Jeff did say that removing the keep-together.within-column rule in FOP can cause content to page break at odd locations. He also noted it has been a long-standing policy that FOP  accept the page length limitations on these types of items.

Jeff is willing to drop the FOP rule, if there are no objections to doing so.
