(no subject) group add

hello ajay,

see the statement once again..

-g for prime group
-G for secondry group

if you want to make the new group as your prime one
then you should use -g and if you want to add the user
in some more group then you should -G 

if you want to remove the user from a group then

use the command
suppose ajay is user primary group oinstall, secondry
group dba,users,adm, you want to remove him from adm
group then use

usermod -g oinstall -G  dba,users ajay

or from gui console, unclick that group from the list

if you want to remove entire group user

groupdel groupname

if you want some information about usuage you also can
use man command_name :)
