There's really no easy way to un-install it. You could try going through the RPMS/ dir from the install CD and un-installing all the RPMs that were provided by the CD. However if you are going to re-install (which we recommend in this case), is to keep /var/satellite around. Keeping that local will cut down your re-install time dramatically. -- Matthew Davis, RHCE Satellite Sustaining Engineer From JKonkol at guideone.com Mon Jun 11 11:24:34 2007 From: JKonkol at guideone.com (Konkol, Josh) Date: Mon, 11 Jun 2007 06:24:34 -0500 Subject: [rhn-satellite-beta-users] RE: Red Hat Network Satellite Server 5.0 Beta Program In-Reply-To: <200706061545.l56FjvDU031658@wwwserver3.app.phx.redhat.com> References: <200706061545.l56FjvDU031658@wwwserver3.app.phx.redhat.com> Message-ID: I still never got my certificate, please help!! I think some newer packages we released into the RHN Tools channel with RHN 5.0 Hosted release, broke the Satellite beta product. When we release the 5.0 Satellite, we will also release newer virtualization packages into the RHN Tools channel which are known and tested to work with Satellite 5.0 production release. I honestly do not know if these work with the Beta Satellite though. Regards, Clifford. Kukrer, Koray wrote: > I am having trouble with provisioning a virtual guest on a RHEL 5 Host > server.
