problems getting mail out to another server. The servers IP is listed in
/etc/hosts, I can ping it, but when I trie to send out mail, it doesn't arrive

mee is that the mail program is connecting to the localhost (127.0.0.1). Is it
safe to say that on the same server the mail is put in a queue for sending but
is for some reason not sent? Can anyone indicate what I've forgotten/done
