Hi Ray, Please try the following steps to verify your initrd contents: cp initrd.version.qlogic.img /temp cd /temp mv initrd.version.qlogic.img initrd.version.qlogic.img.gz [just change the extension] gunzip initrd.version.qlogic.img.tgz mount -o loop initrd.version.qlogic.img /mnt/temp cd /mnt/temp ls cd to lib directory and then check for qla2300.o file let us know if you need help!!
