Hi, I had this problem recently. But rebuilding initrd solved it. After reboot, what commands do you execute to make the luns available? One solution that I used for a while was to include "modprobe qla2300" in rc.local file. You can also mount the initrd image using option "-oloop " and then check if the qla2300.o is in it. Can you post your /etc/modules.conf ?
