I observed that in RH6.2, RH7.1, RH7.3, RHEL3 and RHEL4. I always had to remove it later, but then the graphical tools leave it as it should be. But lately it looks, as if some graphical tools add this hostname too. A colegue is swearing that he did not enter the name during installation, but only defines hostname and DNS hostanme in 'redhat-config-printer' and the suspicious line had ben there.
