Intermittent system lock ups on IBM x366 running
64bitRHEL3U5-x86_64<BR><BR></FONT></DIV><!-- Converted from text/rtf format --><BR>
<P><FONT face="Comic Sans MS" size=2>Has anybody experienced system lockups
and/or system hangs.</FONT> </P>
<P><FONT face="Comic Sans MS" size=2>We recently loaded an IBM X366
4processor box with RedHat 3.0 update 5 x86_64 64bit. We
now see occasionally over night or throughout the day system hangs. To the
point where the interfaces may be pingable but ssh or telnet are not
allowed. Connectivity through a RSA-II card is allowed but the remote
control capability is useless. At this point only a system reset clears up
the system so it can be accessed once again.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face="Comic Sans MS" size=2>Diagnosis from the RSA has been run and
comes back clean. No error logs explaining loss of power or temp
warnings. No loss of network connectivity or cpu/memory failures. The
system simply locks up.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face="Comic Sans MS" size=2>Any help would be greatly
appreciated.</FONT> </P><BR>
