any help before your message, so I experimented. I ran fdisk and created some
partitions. Then I created a static link to each of the created partitions. Then
I just created chunks in Informix using the links. It has appeared to work
so far. Do you think I am going to run into problems down the road, not having
edited the /etc/sysconfig/rawdevices file?</DIV>
