Hi,

I am trying to install openstack by running packstack interactively.
The version of openstack is Grizzly
kernel : Linux openstack 2.6.32-358.118.1.openstack.el6.x86_64

It will be a 1 machine installation
I have created a vg named cinder-volumes
and vgscan shows it;

Found volume group "cinder-volumes" using metadata type lvm2
Found volume group "vg_openstack" using metadata type lvm2

When I run packstack interactively it still asks if I want to create
volume group for cinder.

Should Cinder's volumes group be created (for proof-of-concept installation)? [y|n]  [y] :

As far as I know it should look for "cinder-volumes" vg and if found
should continue without asking the above question.

vg cinder-volumes is on a different disk, (dev/sdb1) but I do not
think this should make any difference

Can anybody tell me what could be the problem

Regards,

Aydin
