There should be the option of "Internal DB" which will allow Foreman to assign static IP addresses to the interfaces on the storage subnet. Foreman needs to have control over the IP addressing in order for the subnet to be used for OpenStack services. Hello Simon, This typically highlights that the installer can't access the repo you are using to host the RHEL 7.1 base ISO. Can you confirm you can reach it using the URL used when configuring the installer and that you can find the pxe images under images/pxeboot/? If you can you can either manually replace the 0 size files or have the installer do this by deleting them on the installer before restarting the build : root at installer # cd /var/lib/tftpboot/boot root at installer # rm -f RedHat-7.1-x86_64-initrd.img RedHat-7.1-x86_64-vmlinuz The following KCS solution covers this on our support portal : OpenStack Foreman-based Installer cannot PXE server leading to dracut shell with dracut-initqueue[492] error /dev/root does not exist https://access.redhat.com/solutions/1384303 Lee - -- Lee Yarwood Principal Software Maintenance Engineer Red Hat UK Ltd Registered in England and Wales under Company Registration No. 03798903 Directors: Michael Cunningham (US), Paul Hickey (Ireland), Matt Parson (US), Charles Peters (US) GPG fingerprint : A5D1 9385 88CB 7E5F BE64 6618 BCA6 6E33 F672 2D76 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJVN6W0AAoJELymbjP2ci12AT8H/3X+GO1GNWa7M720HsyXj1kz +Q2IU9rlR/GvB1A6tUJevSp7GVeraVITtSHd+zM355KpapXqQD3cyV7yBygfkpmg tvB/QLxs16ea6O8SvBdVt/RdHWUv3pLFBJrSdojKteWUHezVgCEKfWCtgwWswItf TdxqMKNjjn+yoYAVNKQjk3cKSKw2hyuAYAE1pNCBR49TBsCSNoGbUgoH0YW5JSRD YyrIDQIiKCPdFWuAO08IMjHxlv44pOyBQ8WMMcJDBORfYlYHs523f1xI/GsO+3Bp Deob0xqvqQSRpmXyPxFgE1tSFPP6jTExib3Y9gJy8o0Eg74B/07GI+TMSCIS4I8= =v9K6 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- From Sunny_Anthony at symantec.com Thu Apr 23 12:12:28 2015 From: Sunny_Anthony at symantec.com (Sunny Anthony) Date: Thu, 23 Apr 2015 05:12:28 -0700 Subject: [rhos-list] : Any Prerequisite for RH Openstack Certification Message-ID: Hi, I want to do RH Open Stack certification.
