Ok! I'd like to get your input on another issue that has popped up just now. We are trying to sync the rpmforge repo via the commandline(spacewalk-repo-sync) and it fails with the same message all the time: "yum.Errors.RepoError: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: centos-6-rpmforge-x86_64. Please verify its path and try again." I have tried different mirrors for rpmforge but they all fail, any ideas on why this is happening? However I managed to get the updates installed by using an activation key that subscribes to the updates channel. In addition you may want to add an (yum) update command in a post kickstart script to have the updates installed during the kickstart installation. If you did, try kickstarting without the updates channel. I've tried removing the folders for CentOS 6 in /var/cache/rhn/{repodata,reposync} and resyncing the channels, removing the channels via the Spacewalk UI and adding them again, to no avail.
