When I had a problem like this a week or two ago it was due to an
issue with my SSL certificates. They were generated with a different
fqdn than the one actually used in production.<br>
Recreating all spacewalk certificates (both spacewalk and web certs)
fixed it. <br>
<br>
So make sure you're contacting your spacewalk server on your clients
with the same FQDN you originally entered in your spacewalk config.
To test if your certs are an issue you can temporarily disable the
use of SSL by editing /etc/sysconfig/rhn/up2date. Just set
"useNoSSLForPackages=1" and create an entry
"noSSLServerURL=<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://spacewalk.server.fqdn/XMLRPC">http://spacewalk.server.fqdn/XMLRPC</a>". <br>

But on the spacewalk web interface I see that the system has 21
updates available and I even schedule a few of them.<br>

It looks like the client isn't able to fetch the rpms from the
spacewalk server, maybe I missed a step during instalation?<br>

One (i386) behaves as expected and another (x86_64) does not see any updates from spacewalk however spacewalk side is not showing any abnormalities. Right now it reports 20+ packages needs an update but neither scheduling an update and running rhn_check nor running yum update on a target system results in any updates.
