Well, looks like the Ubuntu apt-get is the one that's getting it wrong here and that Spacewalk is correct (for these packages). That's what it looked like to me on your first e-mail but I wasn't certain, however this seems to confirm it. Now, have you tried to update with rhn_check after approving the package updates in Spacewalk? It's been annoying me that Ubuntu seems to take great liberties with the Debian package versioning standards but it appears to be a new low for them to manage to come up with versions that seem to break their own hacked up versioning algorithms. You could try to crank up the logging on the rhn_check, to verify that those package versions are being recommended by Spacewalk (or look at the event history?) but if Spacewalk is suggesting python-ethtool-0.14-1.amd64-deb and the apt-get client is rejecting it, then the client is wrong.
