There have been some fixes in both but I haven't found it to be stable. 4.1 is an LTS release and might serve you well until the newer stuff is more stable. I've had issues still with 4.{2,3} If you end up looking for another card a K2200 works perfectly as a primary with OVMF. Low-end Quadros are a black hole that are neither officially supported by NVIDIA nor do they typically work with the GeForce quirks.
