      I am not quite sure i understand... But if you want to use your
      IGD for primary desktop rendering while being able to run games on
      secondary more powerful GPU while still being in your primary X
      session then you are looking for something like bumblebee or
      virtualgl. Bumblebee may or may not work on a desktop setup. I
      have not explored it as my hardware setup does not allow me to use
      mesa on my primary graphics card (this is a bumblebee
      requirement). I did not try virtualgl either, but it should do
      what you want, however i am not sure of performance. Also i do not
      know how to set that up on a local machine.<br>

            could't pass through my primary GPU due to configuration
            issue, I also tried to pass through the secondary one. Since
            pass through the primary GPU could fail due to "polluted" by
            display driver, I thought the secondary GPU is more "clean",
            as there's no output. But the Guest didn't display anything
            on it either :(</span></div>

                Just posted a small tutorial on how to set up second X
                server running on<br>
                second GPU. Aim of this procedure is to allow us use
                second GPU on our<br>
                host OS while kvm VM that usually gets GPU attached to
                it is offline.<br>
                Now all you gamers can enjoy those linux titles on linux
                OS while<br>
                resorting to windows VM for titles that have no linux
                support.<br>
