I think you have fallen prey to the ambiguity of the term "login". 
Replace the login with "login credentials" you're on the right track. 
What you mean I would call a "session". If I log into almighty with my 
github account (tsmaeder), my "login" is "github:tsmaeder", but in 
almighty I am t.s.maeder at redhat.com. Almighty may or may not know that 
the two are the same person.
