i386 packages/libs missing from devel tree

I've looked a bit in the list and haven't seen anything mentioned about
this... am I missing something?  Seems like there are no longer any i386
packages in the x86_64 tree .. honestly it could be that they were never
in the devel tree, this is the first time I've gotten a (somewhat)
successful install off of devel so it's unlikely I would have noticed if
they were missing before : )
