The BIOS has a setting for 'Onboard Promise Controller" that can be set to
'RAID' or 'Onboard IDE Operate Mode'.  The first setting allows RAID for IDE
drives.  The second effectively allows a third IDE controller.  With either
setting, FC2 does not see any additional disks.  Here is my dmesg (just the disk
part) and lspci for my system.
