Update BIOS on Gigabyte K8NS Ultra-939?

Many thanks to all who contributed advice.  Here's the solution I worked 
out:

I examined and extraced the actual BIOS ROM from Gigabyte's installer on 
another machine, pieced together a stripped-down Dos 6.22 boot disk with 
the flash program and ROM on it and managed to snag a USB floppy drive 
(the K8 NS-Ultra has the option of booting from a USB floppy, 
fortunately - lifesaver there).  I've upgraded and all seems well.
