Sure, but Red Hat Linux 6.2 was distributed as a single (binary cd). All
packages were assumed to be on the first (only) cd.

The newer distributions use the hdlist files to determine which cd
contains a given package.
If you move packages from one disk to another, you must regenerate the
hdlist file.
