I have filed a bug on this tonight. I've actually filed a slew of UI
improvement suggestion bugs, but this is one of them. I think we can
make this reasonably clear quite easily: we just need some text on the
'disk shopping cart' screen which explains reasonably concisely what the
hell is going on, what will happen next, and that nothing happens until
you hit the big red button.

The bug is https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=903498 , and my
suggestion is simply to add this text (or something like it, I'm sure Mo
can improve it) to the shopping cart screen:

Choose which storage devices will be a part of the Fedora installation.
Any device you do not select here will be left untouched by this
installation process. The 'Full disk summary and options...' link may be
used to configure bootloader location if needed. Clicking Continue will
take you to the next step of storage configuration, where you can plan
to free up space for the installation if needed, or choose to configure
your planned storage layout manually. No changes will be made to your
storage devices until you complete this configuration process, return to
the main screen, and click "Begin Installation".

I really think that just doing something that simple would go a long way
to clearing up the confusion.
