Because I need to derive device names from some unique information
in the (cryptic) vendor specific metadata, I end up with such more or less
cryptic, native names derived from magic numbers and such.
The way to work around those is to create symlinks for your convenience.
E.g. tweak your initscript to create
/dev/ataraid/'DeviceName' -> /dev/mapper/isw_igefbdigf_RAID.
I've put up this issue on the TODO list already (i.e. support for mapping
native to user supplied names on the command line or in a config file).
