I've attached the patch files to mkinitrd and rc.sysinit.
You also need a patched lilo to install lilo
(http://tienstra4.flatnet.tudelft.nl/~gerte/gen2dmraid/lilo-22.6-dmraid.patch).

Some people have gotten grub to install on dmraid, but I haven't.
