Thanks for your comments.
Based on your email I've put on rc6.
Here is my dmesg.
I'm getting:
ata1: SATA max UDMA/133 cmd 0xE800 ctl 0xE402 bmdma 0xD800 irq 185
ata2: SATA max UDMA/133 cmd 0xE000 ctl 0xDC02 bmdma 0xD808 irq 185
ata1: SATA port has no device.
scsi0 : ata_piix
ata2: SATA port has no device.
I've tried dmraid -ay
I still get "No Software RAID disks"
Any help appreciated

I believe rc6 or better all worked flawlessly with the TX2000. I can't test
the latest release as I have since moved to a SCSI hardware raid solution on
the machine concerned.
