PDC20378 - Help :(

If the kernel driver isn't seeing your drives you may want to try compiling a driver yourself for the FastTrak 378 controller.   Promise has partial open source code on their support site for the FastTrak TX4000 which also specifies the 378 in the README.txt file header. "PROMISE FastTrak TX4000/376/378/S150 TX Series Linux Driver README".  If that compiles and works you probably won't need to run dmraid.
