Veification that dmraid is configured correctly?

I have installed dmraid version 1.0.0.rc9 on my i386 Ubuntu system. The
problem is it does not appear to be rebuilding a corrupted disk, as I
have to enter Windoes XP to force a rebuild. From Linux when I issue a
dmraid -n command I obtain identical information for each drive,
including serial numbers, and device numbers.
