[augeas-devel] Revamp augtest and misc small fixes

This patch series addresses a few minor problems, and has a complete
rewrite of tests/augtest in patch 4/4.

The problem with augtest was that it was written in Ruby, requiring Ruby be
installed for development, and that it was very slow. The Ruby script has
been replaced by a shell script test-augtool.sh which is also a lot faster
than the old Ruby code (mostly because it's more clever about what work to
do)
