The augeas website says that python-augeas is in EPEL. But it doesn't seem to have hit EPEL5 or EPEL6 yet. There is a bug raised and closed: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=661452 but I'm not sure who to to go to next.
