#206: parse_failed for /etc/sudoers (SLES)
--------------------------+-------------------------------------------------
 Reporter: willert | Owner: lutter
     Type: defect | Status: new
 Priority: major | Milestone: next
Component: Augeas | Version: 0.8.0
 Keywords: sudoers sles |
--------------------------+-------------------------------------------------
Parsing of /etc/sudoers fails on SLES:

 # augtool print /augeas//error | grep sudoers
 /augeas/files/etc/sudoers/error = "parse_failed"
 /augeas/files/etc/sudoers/error/pos = "690"
 /augeas/files/etc/sudoers/error/line = "26"
 /augeas/files/etc/sudoers/error/char = "0"
 /augeas/files/etc/sudoers/error/lens =
 "/usr/share/libaugeas0/augeas/lenses/dist/sudoers.aug:489.10-.70:"
/augeas/files/etc/sudoers/error/message = "Iterated lens matched less than
 it should"

Could it be that the parsing syntax does not allow for comments following
 "defaults" statements?

 Line 25 is this:
Defaults targetpw # ask for the password of the target user i.e. root
