 Thanks! This commit seems to fix open/closing tags.

 What about hash-line-comments (using `#`)? The `test_phpvars.aug` does not
 contain any of those type of comments. I know people should always use
 C++-style commenting, but that doesn't always happen; this is PHP after
 all ;)
