RPMs are published via EPEL (part of Fedora) for RHEL5:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL

The above link gives instructions to configure the EPEL repository.
Alternatively, the packages themselves:
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/epel/5/x86_64/repoview/augeas.html
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/epel/5/x86_64/repoview/augeas-libs.html

For RHEL6, Augeas is included in both the base and the optional channels
(so is supported).
