 augeas should support the zeroconfig daemon avahi.  Avahi is very useful
 in multi VM enviroments such as developing cloud based solutions.   the
 config files is in a standard ini format.

 I have created a lens for this.  It is based on the puppet.aug.  The file
 is attached to this bug
