[augeas-devel] ANNOUNCE: Augeas 1.5.0

I am pleased to announce the release of Augeas 1.5.0. This release contains
a good number of lens fixes and additions. New lenses include lenses for
/etc/master.passwd, OpenShift Quickstarts, Red Hat security manager, star,
systemd's tempfiles.d configuration, Trapperkeeper, and a subset of YAML.

The command line interface, augtool, now accepts a '--timing' option which
make it print out timing information about each operation, and it will not
dump all of its help when given an invalid option.

The evaluation of certain path expressions has been sped up greatly, and
Augeas should now build on OSX against libedit as well as against readline.

Several serious bugs in the API have been fixed, most notably a segfault
when trying to save invalid trees to file, and a segfault when deleting a
tree and its ancestor in the same operation.

As always, lots of thanks to the large number of contributors, and to
Raphael Pinson and Dominic Cleal for all their work in comaintaining the
project.
