[augeas-devel] Releasing 1.8.0 around 2017-03-17

It's been more than the promised three months since the release of 1.7.0 on
2016-11-08. To roughly keep to the three months cadence, I'd like to
release 1.8.0 soonish, probably towards the end of next week.

If you have things that you want to add to 1.8.0, please let me know.
