I really do not know that "inconsistent headers" may mean but
if you got localy copies of all packages then you can always run
'createrepo' on a direcotory with these and point 'yum' to that
repository on your local disk. You will be using then your own
headers. It is possible then you have break a few circular
dependencies before doing the above. '--force --nodeps' is
indeed "extra blunt"
