installation howto

Hello.

I'm having trouble booting the installation CD on an Alpha 164UX/BX
with ARCS BIOS 1.3.062. There's a SCSI disk and IDE CD. No MILO version
I've tried (2.2-18, 2.2-17) seems to be able to load. ldmilo.exe just
hangs after saying:
Loading MILO File: multi(0)disk(0)fdisk(0)\milo
MILO File with 603376 bytes loaded at 80500000
MD5 checksum is fine (I tried milo-ruffian from gentoo).

Any clues?
