AlphaPC 164LX SRM version

Hello,

Does somebody use AlphaPC 164LX with SRM loaded? Which version?

I've got AlphaPC 164LX with AlphaBIOS (5.8). I tried to flash SRM 
(5.8-1), but it work very strange.
It gets to the prompt, but failed to boot from any device attached (even 
floppy). Actually, if I attach a scsi hard drive
to my scsi controller (ncr825) the srm won't get to the prompt. It give 
a error message like - "machine check  .... vector 670".
Any idea what is it related to?

AlphaBIOS works just fine (except one think - I don't like it :) ).
