Memory for AlphaPC 164LX

Hello All,

Happy New Year! It seems that there is no much activity after New Year. :)
I became an owner of AlphaPC 164LX motherboard with 600Mhz cpu, but 
without memory.
I know what type of memory the motherboard requires, but the only DIMMs 
available around -
512Mb ECC registered.
Would someone confirm that 2 DIMMs (total 1Gb memory) will work?
Is "registered" memory supported? (specs mention "unbuffered" type).
