164SX SCSI controllers, and the list quietness...

Man, it got quiet...
In any case, got a 164SX board off eBay good and cheap, and have it installed
and AlphaCore 0.9 on it.
I took the Symbios 53C825 controller that I had in the AS2100 (I am installing
a KZPAC in the AS2100, which works fine) and used it plus an IBM 9.1GB UWSCSI
drive to do the install. The 164SX SRM just simply worked with the 825 card,
and things are happy. Autoboot works fine; SRM, aboot, and the kernel all
are happy with the generic 825 card. It's not the latest SRM; I think it is
V5.4.
My AlphaCore installation on the AS2100 isn't going as happily; there are
errors during RPM installation thrown by Anaconda, which says they're fatal.
I'm installing to a 5 member RAID5 (5x4.3GB Wide SCSI on two channels of the
KZPAC, which is at F/W rev 2.70), which formats properly and begins the
installation (on /dev/rd/c0d0 for the curious). Perl flaked out the first
time around (these being the same set of CD's I used to install almost an
everything system on the 164SX board, so I'm pretty sure the disks are ok),
and it's churning the second attempt now.
