Error messages after power failure

I have had my computers attached to a surge protector since I purchased
my first computer. I guess the one attached to my Alpha has gone south.

I have found the following in my logs. The back slash indicate a wrap
around.

portmap: server localhost not responding, timed out

audit(1121924802.256:0): avc:  denied  { execmem } for  pid=3070 \
comm=minilogd scontext=user_u:system_r:syslogd_t \
tcontext=user_u:system_r:syslogd_t tclass=process

audit(1121924795.072:0): avc:  denied  { execmem } for  pid=2775 \
comm=named scontext=user_u:system_r:named_t \
tcontext=user_u:system_r:named_t tclass=process

audit(1121924795.717:0): avc:  denied  { execmem } for  pid=2804 \
comm=portmap scontext=user_u:system_r:portmap_t \
tcontext=user_u:system_r:portmap_t tclass=process

Starting named: /usr/sbin/named: error while loading shared libraries: \
liblwres.so.1: failed to map segment from shared object: Permission \
denied

I have selinux set to warn and firewall running. So what's this "audit"
that's suddenly, after a power failure, deciding to do this?
Any help on this appreciated.

BTW, I posted another message to fedora by mistake.

Bob
