There is no sound and the volume control on the panel doesn't work.

I apologize for not being qualified to find this bug and squash it. I am
willing to help when I get my IDE card so I can compile the kernel. My
friend was talked into buying a Raid card instead of the RocketPort I
asked him to get me. :-(
