I had had trouble on my AS1000A during testing, but I think it was
power supply related; I removed all but 1 disk and retried with the
20080404 ISO yesterday, and did a successful GUI (Permedia-2) install.

The only "stall" I've seen with the latest ISO was on DS15/DS25, at the
point where "transferring image to hard disk" message appears; that was
solved by using the older (20080311) ISO, hence the recommendation.

Also, thanks for the feedback on the success of an FTP install; I did
one via NFS on an earlier ISO with success, but hadn't tested FTP or
HTTP recently.

Ah; not something I'm familiar with, though I know that Oliver and his
build team have used it extensively.

I'll look into getting this integrated, and fed back upstream.

Thanks.
