Fedora 8-based distro for Alpha CD Announcement

Hello,

I just installed the new OS, and it works really well! The install took
32 minutes on my EV56 533 + PC164LX. I just have to get used to KDE, as
I didn't use it for about...hum...4 years I guess :)

The only problem I can see, is that my Radeon RV100 "flickers" when I
use the DVI output. It's quite strange: as long as I don't move windows
around (or modify content in them), the screen doesn't flicker, but as
soon as I open any window, the screen goes blank for 1 sec and comes
back to life right after.
This problem already existed in AlphaCore 3. It's fine with the VGA
output, so I'm using that now.

My smolt profile was also sent.
